2024 Summer Is Here!
We started staying at the cabin in April this year. The weather is perfect. We’ve done a little remodeling, the grounds are raked, more driveway gravel was added. Thanks to Ben Rogers, the deck is re-built and sturdier than ever. Everything is perfect. Schedule your dates now.
Visit from our Alabama Grandkids
It was fun having the Maestri family come visit the cabin in July. Luckily they came before the record heatwave, but they enjoyed the bows and arrows, making crafts to “sell,” and relaxing. Jennie and Ellie enjoyed a morning hike out to Observation Point.
New Carpet for the Main Cabin

PBS Utah films documentary at Rockin’ R Cabin
Yesterday we had a great film crew from PBS Utah spend a couple of days at the Rockin’ R while they were interviewing Roland for a new documentary on artists and Zion National Park. They also filmed Roland painting outdoors in Zion National Park.
Closing the Cabin up after a Covid-19 Year
Even though the Covid pandemic gave us some troubles, the cabin was still well-used this year. It was a great place to social distance. Thanks everyone for keeping it a great place to hide out.
