Looks like the end of another great season. Nellie and I closed the cabins up on a beautiful sunny fall day just before Thanksgiving. See you next Spring. Don’t forget to get in your reservations early for 2019.
The Glenn Boys Add a Cabin Bulletin Board

Patrick Glenn made this bulletin board for our cabin.
James Glenn and his sons use our cabin periodically as a command post for their outdoor adventures. Each time they leave their mark with an act of service or creative project. They made us a beautiful bulletin board this time with our cabin logo designed by Jim Lee. This year they did Birch Hollow and ran Dianna’s Throne slot canyon.
Braids of Time – A cabin Tradition
Girls camp and the cabin always seem to be places for braids. Maybe just having a lot of girls in one place with time on their hands, I don’t know. Anyway, Grandma Rogers would be pleased with all the braids that lined up in 2018 for a picture. We thought you’d like to see a similar photo taken clear back in 1980.

New porch and deck on the Kids Cabin
Benjamin has been at it again. Look at this snazzy new porch and deck on the kids’ cabin. He got it all built, stained, and even put the chairs on the porch and the flag out front. He has done wonders for our little piece of Heaven. Everyone will want to move into this neat little cabin now.
Wow. New Deck Railings are Beautiful

Thanks Ben Rogers for installing the new railings
Thanks to Benjamin Rogers for installing the beautiful new railings on the main cabin deck. They were much-needed. Now our littles can safely play on the deck. Thanks to Ben for many other updates to the cabins that make our stay in heaven even more fun! Can’t wait for all of you to see it.

Memorial Day 2017 at the Cabin
The Maestri and Simmons families showed up in force for a spectacular Memorial day weekend at the cabin. Hikes, crafts, rock painting, endless board games, perilous swinging and board balancing, coupled with the best food ever, made for an awesome time. Grandma and Grandpa Lee joined them as we celebrated Grandma’s 67th birthday and supervised one of the biggest work projects in a while. We were joined by some of the Jon Lee family as well. Thanks everyone for pitching in so willingly. We love you all.

Jess and CJ on the Swing

Christian and Jessica Lee on the swing
Jess and Christian are our newest married couple to pose for the “Swing” shot. Couples from the beginning of time have posed here according to ancient legend. They also got in on our big work project helping cut and stack logs from the winter kill and spreading new gravel on the driveway and walkways. We love you both.
Cutting the Rest of the Downed Ponderosa Trees
We were grateful that Jon brought up his chain saw and two helpers, Diggie and Max to help trim and cut the rest of the winter kill. They worked long and hard and were joined later by Alyssa who worked hard hauling and stacking logs.
